A lovely traditional village home with a very friendly welcome. The view from the bedroom was lovely.

Sue and Mike are great hosts. They let me check in early, hung out my laundry and took me to Pyecombe the next morning, where the next stage of the South Downs Way started.

I travelled to Poynings to do an outdoor first aid course, and I found South Downs Way B&B online. I booked exchanged messages with Mike regarding the location of the place and the venue for my course, Mike was extremely helpful and helped me with all the information and offered to drop me at the course venue everyday. Mike and Sue are extremely kind and helpful hosts. I enjoyed the breakfast, and I am very thankful to the hosts for all the help they extended.

Friendly greeting from Mike the owner on arrival, who looked after us well throughout our stay. Very comfortable, clean room, easy parking and delicious breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend this B and B if you are exploring the beautiful area of the South Downs.

Just a few miles from Brighton, in a very quiet little village. Mike and Sue were excellent hosts. The room was very quaint and comfortable for a one night stay and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be staying again.

Lovely private B&B in a friendly couple's home, lovely ancient cottage. Boutique with just a handful of accommodations. Lovely cosy room with en suite. Perfectly located at the foot of Devil's Dyke as the last stay on my hike of the South Downs Way. Social too with the other walkers. Lovely pub opposite for dinner.

Lovely location in a lovely quaint village. Sue and Morgan were the perfect hostes. The house itself was very cute, a typical old cottage with traditional decorations and renovated up to a very good standard. Breakfast was made to order and very tasty. The bed was a little hard, that was the only negative.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country, The owners were very friendly and the room had everything we could have wanted - plus a side-view of the downs, particularly beautiful in the early morning. Local pub just a few metres away. While we were there, we observed a walker being offered a lift to the South Downs Way. Excellent private parking off-road.
